Brett Bernard, PCSW, MSW
Practicing in Wyoming & Idaho
Brett is a clinical intern and Master of Social Work student at Boise State University. He has over a decade of experience working with adolescents at Teton Youth and Family Services group home as a lead youth counselor, where he developed skills in building rapport, de-escalating crises, and supporting youth through major life challenges. Brett has further enhanced his skills through internships that offered insight into treatment planning, interagency collaboration, and evidence-based interventions.
Originally from New Hampshire, Brett moved west in search of bigger mountains and deeper snow. His core values—empathy, respect, health, adventure, and independence—guide both his professional approach and personal life. He is passionate about helping individuals and families build on their strengths to overcome barriers, and bringing his dedication, experience, and collaborative spirit to clients and families here at Teton Behavior Therapy.
Outside of his clinical work, Brett enjoys backcountry skiing, mountain biking, walking his dogs, and tinkering in his garage. He lives in Victor, Idaho with his partner and two dogs Aiko and Jett.
