Colleen Howarth
Clinical Counselor Intern, Practicing in Wyoming & Idaho
Colleen is a clinical intern who earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University in Nebraska. She works with children, teenagers, adults, and older adults, and is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and life transitions. Colleen’s approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique story. She believes in each person’s capacity to lead an authentic and meaningful life and is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for all clients, including members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Her clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and life transitions. Colleen draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and psychodramatic techniques, and incorporates holistic practices such as yoga and meditation.
Outside of her work as a counselor, Colleen enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, and cheering on her favorite Philadelphia sports teams. She values time with friends, family, and connecting with nature.
