Dana McGuire, MA, LPC

Dana is a licensed professional counselor based in our Pinedale office, where she works with individuals of all ages. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wyoming and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adams State University. Dana brings a warm, holistic approach to therapy, combining her scientific background and creative instincts to offer care that is both effective and deeply personalized. She is committed to helping clients live authentically, embrace vulnerability, and stay present in their lives.
Dana’s clinical focus includes working with couples, anxiety disorders, personality theory, and stage of life transitions. She integrates a range of evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Dana is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), gender diversity, suicide prevention and grief and loss.
Outside the therapy room, Dana has experience in community engagement through inclusion work with children with special needs, mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and coordinating events and programs. She finds joy in blending her passions for connection, creativity, and meaningful service.
