Natalie Prescott, PPC
Licensed in Wyoming
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, Natalie worked as a field mentor for a wilderness therapy company in Utah where she developed her passion for encouraging healing and mental health through the outdoors and community building.
Natalie moved to Jackson in January 2020 and worked as a case manager for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault at the Community Safety Network. Inspired by this work and experiencing the growing need for accessible mental health services throughout the COVID pandemic, Natalie pursued a graduate degree in school counseling and mental health counseling at the University of Wyoming.
These experiences have rooted Natalie’s clinical work in the power of place and relationships. She is dedicated to meeting clients with compassion and working with individuals to develop a deeper sense of meaning and empowerment in their everyday lives. Natalie has experience working with children and their caregivers within the school counseling and clinical counseling settings. Her work as a therapist is guided by trauma-informed and evidence-based practices and draws upon Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and experiential modalities such as play therapy, narrative therapies, and somatic techniques.
